Introduction

  • The ‘Extra Little Lifts’ free rides offer is open to consumers aged 18 and over (the “Offer”).

 

Activation

  • The ‘Extra Little Lifts’ free rides offer will take place on 20th and 25th June 2024 from 1pm to 8pm on both days (the “Offer Period”).
  • The ‘Extra Little Lifts’ free rides offer will take place exclusively in London, Liverpool and Manchester (“Participating Cities”).
  • In London, The Participant shall only enjoy a maximum of one free taxi ride, from the pick-up point in Participating Cities to their chosen location where they will be watching one of the England games during the Offer Period. Such location to be within Zones 1 + 2 of the London Tube Map
  • In Manchester and Liverpool, The Participant shall only enjoy a maximum of one free taxi ride, from the pick-up point in Participating Cities to their chosen location where they will be watching one of the England games during the Offer Period. Such location to be no longer than 10 miles.
  • The ‘Extra Little Lifts’ free  rides will be provided by a registered taxi driver, in partnership with Ubiquitous. 

Eligibility

  • Over 18s only.

  • Participants are restricted to one free ride for a maximum of 5 people at any one time for the duration of the Offer Period. 

  • While the taxi may still be visible to the general public, and on the road, there will be no free rides available either before 1pm GMT or after 8pm GMT during the Offer Period.  

  • By accepting a free ride during the Offer Period, Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Offer at its discretion. The Promoter shall therefore assume no liability whatsoever in the event that you cannot adhere to new free ride times. 

  • The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions  or cancel the  Offer at any stage where it becomes necessary to do so, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

  • Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the Offer will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • Limitations of liability: insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor its agents or associated companies assume any responsibility or liability for:

  • the behaviour of Participants (and/or the behaviour of others who accompany them) when participating in the Offer. The Participant is solely responsible for their own interactions with the driver. The Participant shall be responsible for the costs of:

    • repair for damage to; or

    • necessary cleaning of,

      any property belonging to the Taxi Driver as a result of any use of the Offer in excess of normal “wear and tear” damages and necessary cleaning of the same.

  • nor shall it procure insurance in respect of, any of its and/or anyone else’s personal belongings including those left in the Taxi associated with the Participants use of the Offer.

  • Insofar as permitted by law, any injury or damage to Participants or to any other person (or their property) which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the offer.
